Reignwood Park and Robinswood Golf Club Create a Stir with the Inaugural “Reignwood Run 2024” Featuring an Array of Thai Celebrities

Reignwood Park and Robinswood Golf Club celebrated the resounding success of the “Reignwood Run 2024” mini-marathon on the morning of 7 December. Hosted at the expansive 2,000-rai (790-acre) Reignwood Park in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani, the event saw participation from prominent Thai personalities, including two-time Olympic gold medallist Flight Lieutenant Panipak Wongpattanakit, affectionately known as "Nong Tennis," who joined the historic run alongside children to inspire the next generation.
The mini-marathon event attracted more than 1,600 Thai and international participants, who gathered to create a memorable experience across the expansive 2,000-rai grounds of Reignwood Park. The event was led by Ms. Worapanit Ruayrungruang, CEO of Reignwood Group, and Mr. Pongsak Raktapongpaisal, Chairman of Reignwood Park. Joining them were Mr. Suangsong Thienthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports; Ms. Pichaya Raktapongpaisal and Mr. Parit Raktapongpaisal, executives from KIS International School; Mr. Somkid Chantamaruk, Governor of Pathum Thani; Pol. Lt. Gen. Kamronwit Thoopkrachang, President of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organisation; MP Manatsanan Leenavarat from Pathum Thani District 5; and Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok.
Adding to the day's inspiration, Flight Lieutenant Panipak Wongpattanakit, affectionately known as Nong Tennis—a two-time Olympic gold medalist—participated in the children’s race, encouraging and motivating young runners.

The event featured four categories tailored to diverse participants:
  • 12 km for long-distance enthusiasts
  • 5 km for casual runners
  • 2 km for children
  • 1 km for runners with their pets
Each tailored course was meticulously crafted to highlight the scenic beauty of Reignwood Park, offering runners a chance to connect with nature while passing through iconic landmarks, including the world-class Robinswood Golf Club. Renowned as one of Southeast Asia’s most exclusive golfing destinations, this 18-hole championship course added an unparalleled dimension of charm and sophistication to the event.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners across all categories:
  • 12 km: Mr. Sutas Kalayanakit (Men’s Champion) and Ms. Supannasa Phonlamai (Women’s Champion)
  • 5 km: Mr. Apisit Chaisit (Men’s Champion) and Ms. Thitiporn Kiattawipong (Women’s Champion)
  • 2 km (Children): Zelin Wang (Boys’ Champion) and Chelsea (Girls’ Champion)
  • 1 km (Runners with Pets): Mr. Rittiwong Boonam and his loyal canine companion
Adding to the festive spirit, the first 50 finishers in each category received exclusive giant teddy bear prizes, alongside commemorative keepsakes, race shirts and finisher medals.
